"O God, you have taught me from my earliest
childhood,
and I have told others about the wonderful things you do."
Psalms 71:17

Sunday School
Our
Sunday
school program is designed with the whole family in mind. We offer a lectionary
series curriculum program the appeals to all the learning styles of children at
9:30am and 11am. Our teachers are dedicated and caring—they make Sunday school a
place of love and safety for all the children who attend Alliance. Our goal is
for each child to leave class with the message that God loves them! They will
color, cut, paste, read stories, play games, read the Bible, share prayers, eat
snacks, paint and even plant seeds along the way, but it all boils down to that
fundamental message of God’s enduring love.

Kids Club & God Squad
All We
have been blessed with a wonderful group of children and a fantastic start to
our new Kids Club (Kinder-4th graders) and God Squad (5th-6th
graders). One is never too young for fun and fellowship, which is why we
felt the need to nurture this healthy social outlet in our community. We hope
to build your child’s own sense of self and understanding of God’s love for all,
as well as an understanding of how to show others that same love. You are
invited to join us every Sunday from 5-6pm.
Confirmation
Beginning in January of each year, children of confirmation age are given the
opportunity to participate in an exciting confirmation program. The program
goes through May and includes field trips, mentor meetings and fellowship. It
is an essential part of the spiritual formation of our children as they work
with the pastor, staff and (adult) friends of faith. At the end of
confirmation, the kids are given the opportunity to make an informed adult
profession of faith. |
