PatPat's Hats was established as a way for the family of Patrick James Raymond to give back to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital and Smillow Cancer Center for the care that was given to Patrick (aka PatPat) when he was diagnosed with Desmoplastic Medulloblastoma. To read all about PatPat's amazing journey, go to patpatshats.com.
Diane Crane, member at AUMC, is dedicated to supporting this cause. She is heading up the collection of New Hats of all ages (Preemie, Infant, Toddler, School Age, and Teen). The hats can be hand-made or purchased. The hats MUST be washable and new. Anyone wishing to donate hats can leave them in the PatPat's cubbie in the mission hallway, or deliver them directly to Diane Crane. She will ship them directly to PatPat's Hats or to other organizations in need. The hats will be worn by childhood cancer patients who have become bald from chemotherapy.
